  1. Proverbs 15:23--- A man finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word!

When I am able to tell an encouraging word, Gods truth, in a timely way it does give me joy... Then there are times that I think of what I should have said way after the conversation is over... It could be days.... Problem is, maybe it would've been the right thing to say at that time, maybe God would want me to go back to that person and share what God had laid on my heart... But much too often I don't, and just think that "well, maybe I'll get another opportunity to share." Why not go back then? For me it can be pride in the way.

    Proverbs 15:13
A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

People who know me well, say that I am always a joyful person. I laugh a lot and make others that I'm around laugh. (Must mean that I have a happy heart)
But what happens when I have even the littlest heartache? They also pick up on that right away, and say it is unlike me to look this way, little do they know, or maybe they do, that when I am letting the things around me get to me I am also getting further, and further away from God. (Prayer, Qt’s, fellowship with others) and when I get back on track with those things, my surroundings don't change, but my outlook on life, and my heart are.
May we be faithful with God's word, and our relationships with God grow to new heights this week.
