2010

For the Christian, the goal of this new year 2010 is the same as every other year.  Our ultimate goal simply doesn't change - to be conformed more to the likeness of Jesus Christ.  And so it is good to step back and ask a few questions:

• How am I doing at becoming more like Christ?
• Am I allowing God to transform and change my life?
• What areas of my life do I need to fully surrender to Jesus Christ?
• How am I contributing to the body of Christ?
• What prayers do I need to pray?
• What do I need to give?
  
• Do I truly want to see the lost get found by Christ?
• Do I truly love my brothers and sisters in Christ?
• Is my relationship with God the most important relationship in my life?
• Does my life actually reflect Christ?

The list of questions go on and on, but they are questions that we must ask if we are indeed going to be any different one year from now.  Take some time to ponder these and other questions and be open to the changes that God has for your life.  God has some things that He want to accomplish in us and through us in this coming year.
