Acts 2:42-47 is probably a section of scripture that I have read and contemplated more than any other. For me, it is an embodiment of what it looks like to be the Church. I don't get the sense that church was just something 1st century followers of Christ went to once a week. Rather it seems that they devoted their lives to the things that mattered to God - his Word, prayer, fellowship, and breaking bread.
They lived the Truth. They were the "living testament" of what it meant to live a life for Christ. And God rewarded them for it. May we always be seeking to grow towards their example.
