In our reading for today (John 6:43-51), I was reminded that in a couple of days we will be sitting down with our family and friends and we will be saying over and over, "Would you pass the turkey, please." Or the potatoes (is potatoes spelled with an 's' or an 'es' - oh well) or the stuffing or the pumpkin pie or the whatever.
Let's not forget to thank God for the bread of life that will never spoil or run out or leave us wanting for more. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, came so that we could have everlasting life with our Maker and our Creator and He always satisfies to the full.
