Worship Him Together

This coming weekend is a BIG weekend. We will be moving into the new auditorium this Sunday to give it a try. It's exciting to be on the move once again. God has provided for us since a group of families came down to Loveland from Ft. Collins in 1995. We may be moving to a new place but our purpose will never change - to carry out the Great Commission (to make disciples) by obeying the Great Commandment (to love God and others).

Be in prayer over the next few days as God prepares us for the transition. If you worship at SVCC, we'll see you there on Sunday. If you worship at Day Seven, you are invited on Sunday to come and support your brothers and sisters at SVCC.

Psalm 22:22 I will declare your name to my brothers; in the congregation I will praise you.

  1. In thinking about worshiping God rather than the things of this world, combined with watching my 401K dwindle by the minute, I decided to put on my monitor at work a promise from Matt 6:19-21. I handwrote it on a post-it and have it right in front of me where I can be reminded of the fact that my treasure is not here on earth but in heaven, and that this treasure can't be taken away from me. I thought I needed to remind myself of God's promises. Here are the verses:

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
