Holy Time
God gave me a new thought this morning as I read Exodus 20:8-11. The thought I had was that God set aside a specific portion of time to be holy. I have a much easier time thinking of something tangible as holy, such as 'holy ground' or a holy place like the 'holy land'. But I really hadn't considered that God has made a portion of time to be holy and that when we treat it as holy and do with it what God says to do with it that there is a benefit for us in that - we find rest for our souls.
