Proverbs 27

Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Living a life in Christ was never intended to be about isolationism. We need one another more than we think.

That's a big part of what this blog is all about. We can encourage one another and share with one another and sharpen one another. It's great to come together on the weekend and in the context of Fellowship Team - this is just one more way that our journey together with one another and with God can be enhanced. This blog is meant to augment what's already happening.

What did God teach you today?

  1. I also appreciate the "iron sharpens iron" verse in this Proverb, and I find that in order to experience growth in my walk with Christ, I have to CHOOSE to live this verse out in my life on a regular basis. I have to allow, and even SEEK input from others regarding my character and the character of my children. If I don't let others know that I am open to their input and reproof, I probably will not get it often enough. I have found that if I am not teachable, I cannot grow.
