Would you please consider sharing your "One and Only Story?"
It can be anything about your walk with the One and Only God. A victory in an area of your life where you have put God first and you have seen His blessing. Or a struggle in an area where you have been challenged with putting God first. Or anything else that you feel would be appropriate that you would like to share.
These can be totally anonymous (by choosing the anonymous option when you go to post your comment) but what you write will be available for others to read in the comments section. This would be a tremendous encouragement to our entire church family to share what God has done in our lives.

It is really cool how God can take many different stories and use them all to tell one story. When I first read the title of this post, I was surprised to see it say my "one" and "only" story. I can think of hundreds of ways that God has blessed me or taught me something, but when it all boils down to it, it is all the same and it is all just ONE story.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think about what God has done recently to add to my story, it is really hard to pick one instance. However I believe that the most recent addition to my story is that of simply relaxing and trusting God to take care of everything. I think that my whole live I have always had the mindset that "if they would just listen to me" or "if they would just change" then I seem to think that all of my problems will be fixed. But I believe that God is showing me that the log that is in my eye is always there, and if I am seeing a speck in someone else's, then that is a sure guarantee that I have my own issue to deal with.
So as an application I have been trying to look for flaws in my own character whenever I see one in someone else. Whenever I get frustrated with someone, I say to myself "I will give it a week to let myself figure our if the reason that I am so upset is my own fault or if it really theirs," and if I have not found something in a week then I will say something. So far, I have not been able to go a whole day without figuring that I am just as much at fault, if not totally for the hardship in that relationship.
This is just one story that has contributed to my one life and every day there is another one to add...
